Training in the early morning, mid-morning, and around noon are all definitely possible within the Carb Back-Loading framework, and the book contains specific instructions and sample meal plans for making it work.

The Carb Back-Loading book has specific instructions for how to do morning training. Back-loading the carbs in the evening does still work.
